Tom Henderson has, for more than thirty-five years, practiced business bankruptcy and general commercial law.  He has been a board certified* specialist in the area of business bankruptcy since 1991.

In his practice, Tom has represented clients in every facet of bankruptcy reorganizations, including debtors, creditors (secured and unsecured), creditors and equity committees, bondholders, purchasers and investors.  In the course of his representation of these various parties, he has become knowledgeable in all phases of the operations of a variety of enterprises including real estate entities, retail chains, oil and gas companies, manufacturing and agricultural concerns and technology companies.

Tom is certified as a mediator (through the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center at the University of Houston Law Center), focusing on the resolution of commercial disputes.

Tom is a frequent speaker at bankruptcy bar and professional conferences on restructuring  issues. He has served as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught a practice-oriented course in Chapter 11 reorganization.
